1. IPL 2024 Final

The Indian Premier League 2024 Final will be an exciting clash between KKR and SRH – two teams which have reigned supreme throughout this tournament with their attacking brands of cricket captivating audiences across the nation.

This match will serve as both players’ last IPL appearance before joining their respective national squads for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup tournament.

Both teams finished as group leaders and have already played each other twice this season: once at home in Kolkata and again during Qualifier 1. Whoever comes out victorious will become IPL Champions.

While batting teams have typically won IPL finals, there’s always the possibility that the match could end in a tie if both teams are equally capable – as was evident during 2022 and 2023 finals. At MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, which will host this match-up, and which ever team scores the most runs will emerge victorious.

Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine will play a key role in this final, as their spinners possess the ability to overwhelm any opposition they encounter.

But Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen of South African origin from SRH will certainly be prepared to counter them effectively.

The IPL final will take place at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium – or Chepauk as it’s more commonly known – hosted by defending champions Chennai Super Kings, just as every IPL final.

Qualifier 1 and 2, both marquee play-off games hosted by Ahmedabad and Chennai respectively, respectively; in March’s regular season ten teams have been divided into two groups of five each and will play each of their group twice before facing four other randomly drawn opponents once during this year.

2. IPL 2025 Final

On June 3rd, the IPL 2025 Final will take place to crown a champion of this 18th edition of franchise-based T20 cricket competition, comprising 10 teams that participated in last year’s competition.

KKR and SRH both put on an exciting display in their opening IPL 2025 playoff match, competing to host the final in their respective cities.

Narine gave KKR an outstanding start but, once he fell, their chase quickly disintegrated despite an unbeaten 52-run partnership between Manish Pandey and Harshit Rana; ultimately they were all out for just 136 runs; with Pat Cummins and Travis Head each taking four wickets for SRH bowlers.

Chandigarh will host the final due to changes in schedule caused by India-Pakistan tensions; Chandigarh was chosen based on weather forecasts as the next best venue.

KKR and SRH share an intense rivalry in the Indian Premier League (IPL), with the former winning three titles overall to become champions under Shreyas Iyer in 2024.

Over their 29 meetings against each other, KKR have won 28 matches against their arch-rival SRH; nine matches out of 29 meetings against them saw SRH win nine matches overall against them.

Each side will be desperate to beat one another to claim the orange cap; this final will provide two of Australia’s premier fast bowlers to go head-to-head in an anticipated thrilling contest!

3. IPL 2026 Final

IPL 2026 will feature all ten teams from last season and is scheduled to run from March to May. Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the defending champions and this season will present them with unique challenges as they attempt to defend their crown.

IPL franchises have released several high-profile players ahead of the upcoming mini auction and trade window has been abuzz with confirmed deals. Here is an update on each team’s performance prior to auction day.

English all-rounder Sam Curran will join Rajasthan Royals (RR) from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after successfully trading.

The 27-year-old all-rounder is set to make his RR debut against Mumbai Indians at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Monday in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter. Curran made his IPL debut for CSK back in 2019 before going on to play for Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), RR and Rajasthan Royals; where he plays both bat and bowling units alongside key teammates currently sitting third in their table standing.

4. IPL 2027 Final

The IPL 2027 Final will decide who wins this season’s Indian Premier League tournament. SRH have twice before claimed victory and hope to add another trophy this year; though their title defence has seen many highs and lows.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a franchise-based Twenty20 league managed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Teams compete to amass points during a series of matches, earning points both for wins and losses as well as bonus points won during bonus point wins.

A single-elimination knockout tournament determines its winner each season; recent editions have featured numerous international stars such as England fast bowler Jofra Archer and Indian-born American speedster Saurabh Netravalkar.

As part of its efforts to enhance competition in 2025 and 2026, the Indian Premier League will extend its schedule. Starting April 27, it will run for 10 weeks before concluding on May 25. This marks two additional weeks since last year and marks the first time its final will take place on a Sunday.

Throughout this season, each team can retain up to six players: four via Right to Match (RTM) option and two through the Retentions auction.

Any unretained players must be sold at auction with each having its own base price – the highest bidder getting them!

In addition, IPL Governing Council introduced an extra salary component known as match fee as an auction add-on that increases stakes further; it will come on top of auction purse and incremental performance pay.

5. IPL 2028 Final

The 2028 IPL Final will mark the finale of India’s annual Twenty20 cricket tournament, held every year at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

It will determine who emerges victorious this year’s competition; these two sides have met 28 times throughout its history – nine victories to KKR for them and eight to Sunrisers Hyderabad with one game ending up as a tie – with KKR reigning champions following three consecutive titles won since 2024 and finishing runners-up under Pat Cummins as captaincy last year SRH finished as runners-up last season under Pat Cummins captaincy SRH finished runners up last year under Pat Cummins’ captaincy as captaincy and win will look forward to this battle-packed encounter!

Top four finishers will qualify for the play-offs and this match will be essential for both sides. Victory would seal their place in the top two; SRH have shown inconsistent batting performances throughout their campaign but hope to finish on a high note with another superb display from their batsmen.

KKR are entering this match with nothing to lose and have been performing brilliantly all season. Their top order has been performing exceptionally, while bowlers have kept things tight through the middle overs. They will hope for similar performances to that seen against Delhi Daredevils last time out.

The IPL will soon become even bigger with plans by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to expand it to 94 matches beginning 2028.

This would make the biggest T20 league globally more equitable as all teams would play each other twice across 94 matches – an announcement will likely come at the time when media rights cycles open up again, said BCCI chairman Arun Dhumal to ESPNcricinfo.
