Prasidh Krishna of GT is their key bowler who can provide crucial breakthroughs in the Gujarat Titans Vs Lucknow Super Giants Match Scorecard.
The pitch should provide assistance for the fast bowlers, allowing them to generate bounce and movement, which could significantly trouble the LSG batters throughout the match.
Aiden Markram scored a half-century to help Lucknow Super Giants defeat Gujarat Titans by six wickets at Ekana Stadium on Saturday. Markram shared partnerships of 65 with Rishabh Pant and 58 with Nicholas Pooran to lead their chase of 286 runs for victory.

1. Hardik Pandya & Wriddhiman Saha vs SRH
GT are considered one of the top contenders to finish in the top two of League Stage. After reaching their initial objective by beating LSG at home, GT are keen to take the next step and secure their place in the semi-finals.
Hardik Pandya will look to continue his impressive form with the bat after scoring an outstanding half century against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
As one of their premier batsman and potential match winners, Pandya must remain focused and perform as effectively as ever against Mumbai Indians in this matchup.
Wriddhiman Saha is yet to score a fifty in this season and will look to do so against SRH bowlers. In 12 deliveries from Hardik Pandya alone he scored 26 runs, but managed only one dismissal during both T20 games they have faced off against one another in T20 cricket.
Shubman Gill also showed glimpses of his talent during their last game and will look to repeat that performance against SRH. He can prove invaluable addition to their squad.
Abhinav Manohar will look to make an impression with his bat as well. A hard hitter of the ball, Abhinav has been known to propel balls well beyond boundary lines with ease.
Gujarat Titans will likely maintain the team that gave them a 10-wicket win against LSG in their previous match, preferring not to alter anything that contributed to such a triumphant result.
They could decide to rest one or both Mohammed Siraj or Prasidh Krishna but due to an outside chance at top two finishes still being possible they may make this call in their last league game against Chennai Super Kings.
2. Hardik Pandya & KL Rahul vs SRH
Gujarat Titans have achieved their first objective – qualification for the playoffs – but still face uncertainty about making it to the top two.
Therefore, in their final league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Sunday they can make a statement and attempt to reach top two.
With that goal in mind it seems likely they won’t make any alterations to the side that earned a 10-wicket win against Mumbai Indians in their previous match; although possibly resting one or both Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna who have both featured every match this season could come into consideration as potential options to ensure they reach top two finish.
Rahul will look to build on his solid showing against Australia in both ODIs and T20Is, in which he scored 77 in the second ODI and 51 in the first T20I respectively.
Rahul was selected for India’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy squad but injured himself during practice and did not play any tests subsequently.
Right-handed batsman Shreyas Iyer has made up for his absence by producing some exceptional performances for Delhi franchise. In first-class matches this season alone he has scored 1,033 runs at an astounding strike rate of 97.8.
Rahul is an integral member of DC’s batting unit but is uncertain where in the order he will bat on Sunday against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
While he could open, where his history speaks for itself, or anchor the middle order as part of an important side he could anchor mid order to provide stability – his T20I stats provide insight as to where best fits in this team.
As for SRH, they remain undefeated in the league stage and can secure first place with a victory on Sunday. But in Shikhar Dhawan’s absence due to a shoulder injury, Virat Kohli has charged his leg spinners Ayush Badoni and Shahbaz Ahmed with keeping Titans attacks under control in his absence. Abhishek Sharma will miss out due to a leg injury.
3. Rishabh Pant & Aiden Markram vs SRH
Gujarat Titans (GT) has endured injuries throughout this season, yet has still met its first major objective of qualifying for the playoffs.
GT now seeks to move one step closer towards finishing in the top two against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), one of this year’s strongest rivals in Indian Premier League competition.
GT are unlikely to alter the side that helped them secure a 10-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous game, though resting Mohammed Siraj or Prasidh Krishna could be considered options – they may decide against that decision until their final league fixture against Chennai Super Kings on April 7th.
Rahul Tewatia will miss LSG’s three matches after being found guilty of breaching the IPL Code of Conduct for using offensive, insulting or abusive language during their loss to Mumbai Indians on Monday night. As punishment, Tewatia received a three-match ban.
SRH’s pace attack has been outstanding this season and will be crucial in this match. They boast an excellent combination of fast and slow bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Harshal Patel who have delivered excellent performances; together these bowlers must work well with other fast bowlers such as captain Dhawan or new ball specialist Abhishek Sharma to take down opposition teams with relative ease.
Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram both scored half-centuries to help LSG reach 205 for 7 in their opening powerplay overs against SRH on a high-scoring pitch, sharing an opening stand of 115 runs in 10.3 overs with Marsh hitting four sixes and Markram reaching fifty off 37 balls.
However, after Marsh’s dismissal a slowdown set in as LSG found it hard to cope with slower deliveries and the middle order struggled to adjust to changes in pitch nature, and quickly found themselves buried with Nicholas Pooran falling for four-ball duck and Sherfane Rutherford scoring just 28 runs off his first 20 balls.
4. Nicholas Pooran & David Miller vs SRH
Gujarat Titans must win both remaining league stage matches if they wish to remain playoff contenders, starting off against an inconsistent Lucknow Super Giants side at home on November 14.
After an underwhelming start to their campaign, LSG have made remarkable improvements and much of the credit must go to former India pacer Zaheer Khan’s new thinktank.
Through these transfers window additions such as Shardul Thakur – who took an incredible hat-trick against Sunrisers Hyderabad during game one to derail their batsmen – LSG have reversed fortune significantly.
Thakur will look to build on his impressive performances and give LSG’s bowling unit an important boost.
They have struggled this season with maintaining an economy rate in their powerplay innings and need an immediate turnaround; Mayank Yadav had once been seen as their X-Factor; however he has fallen well short of expectations, while legspinner Digvesh Rathi has also proven unreliable.
Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad have excelled as finishers for LSG this season; however, more support will be necessary if they hope to qualify for the playoffs.
Their main issue has been their struggling middle order which includes Rishabh Pant and David Miller who have not found form this year and therefore, require Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni’s runs as finishers to pick up runs left over from them.
Pooran was an incredible replacement for Miller in LSG’s previous game against SRH and tore apart their bowling attack with some spectacular hitting, helping LSG chase down 191 with ease.
His partnership with Mitchell Marsh in the first eight overs was pivotal, adding 82 runs over that span while taking apart Mohammed Shami, Simarjeet Singh, and Adam Zampa for runs at will.
GT are unlikely to alter their team too significantly following a convincing 10-wicket win against Delhi Capitals, with players such as Shubman Gill and B Sai Sudharsan having both scored fifties in previous outings – although more scores are necessary if GT are to make the top four.
