KL Rahul

KL Rahul, best known as an opener at number four for India and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, has scored over 1,000 runs for both sides in first-class cricket while amassing 14 international centuries overall – five T20Is and seven ODIs. Rahul excels as both an opener and middle order batsman. A versatile right-handed batting specialist who often specializes in number four batting position; can also open or middle order batsmen. Fielder who bowls economical spin and great fielder- all qualities that contribute towards great cricketers on both teams as well. Rahul’s right-handed batting technique makes him stand out among opponents.

He made his debut for India at Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 2014 Boxing Day Test, replacing Rohit Sharma. Although initially struggling in his debut innings, he made a strong comeback in the second innings and eventually scored 86 runs before falling. His contribution proved crucial in India’s successful chase of their target score.

Rahul’s consistency has propelled him up the ranks of cricket. Against Australia in October 2020, he played an instrumental role in both games – making 77 in the second ODI and 51 in the first T20I respectively, helping his team win each.

He boasts a stellar record against South Africa as well, scoring an outstanding 111 in Mount Maunganui at the 2021 World Cup. In 91 ODIs he has made more than one hundred scores – he holds this distinction alone! Furthermore he boasts an exceptional limited-overs match record against New Zealand.

Rahul should be included as part of any fantasy team lineup due to his consistent performances and powerful hitting. A great opener or number four option, Rahul can open or finish in his place. Both Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill can make big scores when in home conditions but struggle away, which makes Rahul the ideal partner for Rohit Sharma’s innings.

Yash Dayal

The Indian B team consists of domestic players competing for selection in either India’s senior cricket squad, or with one foot already through. There are also some international players not considered national squad candidates. As a developmental side, this squad provides youngsters a platform to show their abilities before an audience, and make inroads into Indian cricket’s professional ranks.

However, the inclusion of left-arm fast bowler Yash Dayal in this team has drawn widespread condemnation on social media from fans and critics alike. He has been named in two sexual assault allegations in Ghaziabad and Jaipur; therefore his continued presence has caused much debate as to whether RCB were sending out the appropriate message by keeping him.

Yash Dayal of Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket is well known for his ability to swivel the ball both ways. He made his List A debut for them during 2018-19 before making an impressionful Ranji Trophy debut shortly thereafter. Additionally, Yash boasts an excellent track record with IPL B team having featured prominently.

He made his IPL debut with Gujarat Titans in 2022 and was purchased for Rs 5 crore at auction that year, but his career didn’t progress as anticipated and eventually he was dropped by them. Last season he suffered one of the worst performances ever when Rinku Singh from KKR smacked him for five consecutive sixes!

Recently, 27-year-old Mohit Chawla has come under scrutiny due to allegations from Ghaziabad of sexual exploitation on the pretext of marriage. Chawla denied these claims and has received protection from arrest from the Allahabad high court; nonetheless, police investigations are currently being undertaken regarding his case.

Akash Deep

Imagine this: it’s September 2025 and India A and India B take to the green pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for their first-class match – a first-class encounter that could last four days and challenge both skill, stamina, strategy and experience of both sides. India A contains experienced campaigners while India B boasts young blood eager to show what they can do on the pitch.

Akash Deep was India B’s stand-out performer at this tournament. Although he may not have fit into modern Indian cricket’s mould – with short stints for Royal Challengers Bangalore but little else on his resume – he proved adept at grinding it out under pressure – something which he did superbly here.

He took wickets in both innings, his variations on a turning track baffled batters and proved that spin remains one of India’s greatest weapons. His googly in the first innings took out one of India’s more dangerous openers and changed momentum; and then in the second innings he bowled an impressive 80 overs with authority, injecting much-needed urgency to lower order innings batting.

Both sides had impressive batting performances, scoring over 900 runs combined. Furthermore, fielding standards were outstanding with no dropped catches and impressive glovework from both keepers.

But the real story was in the players themselves, who put themselves through rigorous trials on an important stage. For youngsters watching at home, this match served as an inspiring reminder that hard work and dedication can take you far in this game. These matches don’t just concern the seniors’ national team; they build tomorrow’s stars too – fast-tracking winners directly to India A tours abroad while giving losers time to learn from mistakes before coming back stronger – this process continues in Duleep and Deodhar Trophies games which shape careers of future stars – winners fast-track their careers while losers learn from mistakes while coming back stronger with experience – thus shaping careers of future stars!

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad has quickly emerged in the cricketing world since making his debut for Chennai Super Kings in 2021, appearing six times and scoring 635 runs – prompting them to retain him ahead of auction. Today he captains Maharashtra teams both T20 and List A formats.

Gaikwad recently led India A to an unofficial one-day international victory against South Africa A in Rajkot, with his composed 117 providing much-needed stability after early wickets stymied progress. Later joined by Nitish Kumar Reddy and Nishant Sindhu who ensured an expeditious chase of 49 overs was completed successfully.

India A started their reply strongly with teenage batsman Suryavanshi scoring 45 off 28 balls quickly – well supported by Naman Dhir’s contribution of 35 off 21 balls – before Pakistan’s bowlers stepped up their game later on with medium-pacer Shahid Aziz claiming three wickets in three overs, followed by spinners Saad Masood and Sadaqat taking two wickets each to put the match out of sight for their opponents.

In the 10th over, controversy ensued as Nehal Wadhera appeared to catch and bowl an off-stump ball that skidded past the boundary line, only for it not touching any boundary rope and leaving India visibly unhappy with what transpired next – an event which lasted almost five minutes and resulted in delays to proceedings.

The India B team comprises players either transitioning out of or still involved with senior national side, under senior coach Rahul Jogi’s tutelage. It provides young players with an invaluable opportunity to play alongside more seasoned players and learn from experienced role models.
