SRH vs LSG

After an explosive start courtesy of Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram, LSG capitulated during their middle overs. Ravi Bishnoi was hit for 4 consecutive sixes which proved costly as they struggled to recover. Abhishek Sharma managed an excellent half century off 18 balls but even that wasn’t enough as they were bowled out for 205/7 with Digvesh Singh and Kamindu Mendis trying their hardest but ultimately they couldn’t push through to victory.

SRH chased down the total with just 10 balls remaining. While they did face some scares – Taide being dropped at deep mid-wicket by Ishan Kishan and William ORourke being dismissed similarly in subsequent overs – Taide managed to keep his momentum.

With only one play-off spot left to secure, Sunrisers Hyderabad are sure to enter their final match against Mumbai Indians with confidence and LSG will aim to avoid repeating their heart-stopping loss against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium last time out. Both teams have made some changes as Atharva Taide and Harsh Dubey joined SRH while William ORourke from New Zealand will replace injured Mayank Yadav on LSG’s roster.
