Hardik Pandya of Mumbai Indians feels his side’s momentum is increasing with each win and appreciates how well the team has come together as one cohesive unit.
SRH are struggling in their powerplay innings after another poor batting display and were set on course to collapse towards a low total. Heinrich Klaasen and Impact Player Abhinav Manohar came to their aid and stopped it happening in the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians match scorecard.

SRH vs MI
Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians extended their winning streak to four matches with an emphatic seven-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday, IPL 2025.
Winning the toss, Mumbai bowled first and reduced Sunrisers Hyderabad to 35/5 inside an hour’s powerplay bowling by Trent Boult (4/26) backed up by Deepak Chahar (2/12).
Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen then rebuilt Sunrisers Hyderabad innings by stitching an unbroken 99 run stand that took them all the way back upto 143/8 at 20 overs before eventually succinctly winning their 20 overs allotted overs!
Mumbai began their chase off to a fantastic start as Rohit Sharma displayed his signature masterclass with the bat.
The former Deccan Chargers captain struck eight fours and a six to reach fifty in two innings; Suryakumar Yadav also contributed, batting at No 3 while scoring an unbeaten 40 from 19 balls.
Once MI had reached par score 144, they never looked back and concluded the match within 15.4 overs to take third place on the points table and increase their net run rate.
It was another impressive all-round performance from Mumbai Indians who appear poised for an impactful playoff push this season.
Rohit Sharma’s superb 70 off 46 balls was a highlight of this match for Sunrisers Hyderabad but ultimately wasn’t enough to secure victory in their defeat against Chennai Super Kings.
Rohit was just short of breaking an IPL record – only ever previously set by Robin Uthappa during Kolkata Knight Riders 2020 title winning campaign.
The two teams will wear black armbands and observe a minute’s silence in tribute to those killed during last month’s terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Cheerleaders won’t be present and crackers won’t be set off either.
